Compressed Air Light & Power is proud to announce our agreement with Atlas CEA.

As a dealer for Atlas CEA, CALP now provide Atlas Copco compressors, portable generators, pumps and lighting towers for hire or sale throughout North Western NSW.  CALP has outlets at Walgett, Narrabri and Caroona on the Liverpool Plains. A new CALP dealership is expected to open in Moree by the end of 2018.

Atlas CEA is known as a specialist fixed-speed diesel equipment supplier and Australian distributor for class leading Atlas Copco portable energy products. The expansion of Atlas CEA’s national distribution network to regional areas allows customers to access world-class product, parts and service. CALP is among the first to be added to the new dealer network.

Owner, Joff Cannington who established the business seven years ago said the agreement came at a crucial time for commercial growth of the region.

“Having the opportunity to get in on the ground floor with a world leading product provider such as Atlas Copco lays the foundations to building a winning team in the supply of construction equipment in regional Australia,” says Joff,  “Atlas Copco is a brand renown for quality, machine longevity, high resale value and in field performance.”

He adds, “While our background is mainly in the area of agriculture and compressed air, our engagement with CEA/Atlas means we can provide a greater portfolio of equipment to an even wider commercial base.”

“We are currently hiring out high pressure Atlas Copco equipment to irrigation works providers for servicing commercial & domestic bores with compressors that weigh less than 3.0 for towing behind some SUV’s.”

Mr Cannington said the move ensures businesses in the region could also have ‘field ready’ access to quality products.

“From remote lighting through to portable diesel generators, compaction products and dewatering pumps, it means businesses with critical infrastructure can have the confidence to operate 24 hours a day if needed.” Says Joff. “When it comes to the origins of industries such agriculture, you simply need to find more efficient and reliable ways of doing things.”

He adds, “We live in an age of specialist attention including crucial matters of safety, OHS and reliability. With our business background, local knowledge and alignment with Atlas CEA we think we’re ticking all the right boxes.”
